Service Opportunities
Every Saturday morning, young adults gather at the Cathedral Basilica for 8:00am Mass, then split into groups to visit different service sites around St. Louis. Below is a list of the service sites we frequently visit. After serving, we gather for lunch at City Foundry at 11:30am.

Started in 1992, the St. Augustine Wellston Center was founded as a food pantry and thrift store to feed and clothe some of the poorest neighborhoods in the state. The Wellston Center — 33-years later — has continued to respond to the evolving needs of the surrounding North St. Louis area. Join our young adults on Saturday mornings to fill food orders, pack bags with food, and clean up anything that needs it.

The Missionaries of Charity have been in St. Louis since 1979, when Mother Teresa visited to start a community here. Each Saturday, young adults serve with the Missionaries of Charity at their soup kitchen in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. They help with whatever the sisters need, and this often includes preparing meals and cleaning the space. If you want to help serve in a poor neighborhood, join our young adults every Saturday morning!

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Food Pantry’s mission is to welcome and serve people in the spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They strive to provide for those in need and to serve their community with dignity and respect. Our young adults go here every Saturday morning to help with packing food bags, sorting and organizing food, and cleaning up the space.
Cor Unum
Cor Unum is a ministry for young adults to serve our brothers and sisters experiencing poverty and homelessness on the streets of St. Louis. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus by building relationships with our street friends, meeting their basic needs and praying with them.
On Saturday, young adults serve the St. Patrick’s Center area from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. To learn more, contact Kyle Jacoby at kylejacoby1@gmail.com.
On Sunday, the St. Louis Samaritans serve the City Hall area at 10:30am. To learn more, contact Will Morrison at wmorrison96@gmail.com.
