The goal of the STL Accelerator is to help young adults find a clear purpose in their daily work, and to help them develop the ambition to constantly serve others. A key to their fulfillment in life is to see profession, family, friendship, and personal aspirations as integrated pieces of their vocation to holiness.

What to Expect
-
The program consists of two Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. Participants must commit to attending both sessions.
For 2026 the dates are: Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, November 21.
Each day includes a full day of reflection and discussion exercises, in a fun-filled team-building environment. Breakfast, lunch and time for socializing are also included.
Before the two Saturdays, there will be a night to talk about working and careers from a Catholic perspective.
-
Twice during the program each member will meet with a Coach, a seasoned professional who offers wisdom and practical advice.
-
The STLA seminars combine small group meetings (or “Pods” of 5 to 8 participants) with plenary sessions.
A Facilitator guides each Pod through the curriculum. Pods offer personalized advice and the support of a team.
The curriculum includes videos, written exercises and discussion guides. Pod members help each other define the impact they want to have in their professions, explore their core motivations, codify their core beliefs, and expand their network.

Content of Each Saturday Meeting
Saturday, October 24
Participants will identify their key personal and professional goals. These goals can include vocational decisions (getting married), key virtues for their life (being known for professional honesty), career development, and financial goals.
Saturday November 21
Participants will form a plan to actualize the goals articulated in the first Saturday. It culminates in a ‘Shark Tank’ style presentation of “life improvement plans” before a panel of Mentors. In a fun way, this helps all participants to grow in understanding of how to formulate and attain goals for self-improvement, all within the light of faith.
