Example Itinerary

  • Depart the USA for Seoul.

  • Fly into Incheon International Airport. We will be met by English speaking guides and will head to our hotel for check in (based on arrival time). Dinner.

  • Explore Seoul. Rent hanboks and visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Hanboks are traditional Korean attire, and wearing them is a popular experience for tourists and locals.

    Mass time and place to be announced.

  • Visit to the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ).

  • Visit Myeong-dong Cathedral and Opening Mass. There will be various cultural events held around the host diocese.

    Reconciliation Center and Vocational Fair: Pilgrims are invited to reconcile with the Lord through Confession and hear His call by learning about diverse vocations.

  • World Youth Day catechesis and cultural events. There will be various events held around the host diocese.

    Welcome the Holy Father.

  • Stations of the Cross. World Youth Day catechesis and cultural events. There will be various events held around the host diocese.

  • Pilgrimage to Vigil site. On Saturday, we will move to the venue for the Closing Mass. With the Holy Father, we’ll pray and adore the Eucharist before settling in to spend the night there.

  • Closing Mass: As Sunday dawns, we will celebrate Mass with the Pope. After the Closing Mass, the Holy Father will announce the host of the next World Youth Day.

  • Return to the USA.
