Nazareth Night

“Frodo was now safe in the Last Homely House east of the Sea. That house was, as Bilbo had long ago reported, ‘a perfect house, whether you like food or sleep or storytelling or singing, or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all’.” (The Lord of the Rings, Book 2, Chapter 1)

The night begins with a restful hour of contemplative prayer, accompanied by beautiful sacred music and opportunity to speak to a priest for Reconciliation or spiritual conversation. We then move to a social gathering – in the summertime outside under the stars, or in the winter playing boardgames in the parish hall, with snacks, La Croix, and soda on hand.

Young adults from all over the Archdiocese gather for the perfect evening of prayer and fellowship. It is typically held at 7:00pm on the third Friday of each month at St. Mary Magdelen in Brentwood, but check the calendar or GroupMe to be sure!
